Electricity Trading, Support & Maintenance
Often, the easiest way for large business to start the energy transition is through supply-side management. Most energy management services focus on the demand side. We look at both. Moving towards wholesale power trading allows the business to select exactly which clean power asset supplies the power. Substitute coal and gas emission for zero emission wind, solar and battery. We are based in Perth and deliver State-wide solutions.
Metro Power's electron mapping tool can be utilised in conjunction with its dynamic trading systems to trade emissions for zero emissions at lower cost than most Retail contracts.

Advanced Energy Management Systems for Grid
Our proprietary, multi-award-winning E2M uses advanced predictive analytics of Ai to predict then orchestrate day-ahead power management with military precision. This ensures security of supply at the lowest cost.
Off-grid mining operations will need to manage thermal generation in concert with the swinging process loads, battery-fication of their mobile fleet, transitory solar and wind system exports to ensure fossil fuel use is minimised while maintaining uninterrupted power to the site.
Grid-connected operations will need to manage their supply contracts daily to ensure they are not purchasing from high emission resources and have the flexibility to invest in their own solar, wind or battery assets behind the meter. Locking into fixed Retail contracts often restricts the user from implementing low-emission strategies. Many grids, including the SWIS, are becoming volatile with pricing and security of supply as high-penetration residential solar changes the way the grid is managed. Opportunity for new revenues for essential services, for the provision of load or supply are becoming more frequent. These include payment to supply Supplementary Reserve Capacity, Non Co-Optimised Essential Services and prospective services for Distributed Energy Resources.

Design and Construct Due-Diligence (Owner's Team)
Our end-to-end understanding of large-scale energy utility projects, tendered as design-and-construct, continues to provide invaluable support to the mining segment Board's to make ESG-based decisions along the road to low-emissions. Metro Power ensure design review considers practical considerations and the installations are undertaken within compliance of the WA Electrical Regulations (we operate our Electrical Contracting License EC8338 using our own licensed electricians) with the support of our own professional electrical engineers. Our resources include endorsements for high voltage switching, NPER engineers and CEC design/installation of solar and battery storage, coupled with the economic analysis of ROI by our professional accounting analysts.
Measurement and Verification
Energy savings metering, measurement and verification auditing is a critical step in securing financing and energy efficiency rebates. For every project, whether motor VSD retrofits, train load-out optimisation or generation fleet run-time scheduling, Metro Power can provide quantifiable evidence showing contract or programmatic goals have been met. In turn, this provides validation of a successful project, proof that grant funds are used as per their agreement, and evidence that energy performance contracts are delivered. Data security is of paramount importance – and that’s why we have designed and constructed our own ISO27001-based, Tier2 data centre in West Perth. Not only is your data safe, but the decision support systems we provide to the ‘cloud interface’ are hosted on servers here in Western Australia. We design our real-time IoT devices in house to connect meters, sensors and SCADA in real time for monitoring and verification, wholesale dispatch, Distributed Energy Resource DER control and Battery Energy Storage System management.
